Sutter Home Wine Cocktail: Mulled Wine

It’s rainy, cold & dreary here in the Napa Valley – not that we’re complaining, we need the rain! What we do need to weather the storm (literally!) is a movie night with friends, some comfort food (mac & cheese, anyone) and some Sutter Home Mulled Wine! Sutter Home Mulled Wine
-1 – 1.5L bottle of Sutter Home Merlot
-1 cup orange juice
-3/4 cup white sugar
-1/4 tsp allspice
-1/4 tsp cinnamon
-5 cinnamon sticks
-3 whole cloves
Break out the crock pot! Add wine & orange juice, stir in sugar, allspice & cinnamon. Float orange wheels & cinnamon sticks. Cook on low for 4 hours. Serve in mugs with a fresh cinnamon stick & orange wedge.
