Simple syrup is just that – simple! This ingredient is a delicious addition to many cocktails, including Sutter Home wine cocktails!
Simple Syrup Recipe
-1 cup sugar
-1 cup water
-Optional: Add any flavoring you’d like: mint, lavender, basil, lemon, lime, berries…
Combine chopped sugar and water in a medium sauce pan. Bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer for 2 minutes. Turn off flame and let syrup cool to room temperature. Strain syrup if desired.
