LITV 2013 – An Intimate Pairing of Music, Wine and Food
The 2013 Live in the Vineyard concert series has wrapped and we have a ton of great photos, videos and sounds to share with you!
We kicked things off on Saturday night with performances by Andrew Ripp, Lee DeWyze, Atlas Genius, James Blunt, and Gavin DeGraw who treated us to some acoustic sets that gave all of us in attendance a chance to hear just how talented they really are. And do they know how to get a crowd into it?!? They had the whole place glowing, thanks to the Sutter Home bracelets that lighted up based on the applause.
Sunday morning started early, with gourmet food and of course, amazing wine at Sutter Home, where all of our sweepstakes winners were treated to an intimiate performance by John Ondrasik of Five for Fighting. He shared with us some of the latest sounds he’s been working on but also took audience requests (and questions), giving us a chance to hear some of his classics and get to know him a little better.
The sweepstakes winners had a bit of free time to enjoy the fall weather before returning to the Uptown Theatre for more music. Sunday night found us enjoying sets that included full bands and more incredible vocals. With Five for Fighting going acoustic in the morning, it was only right we cranked up the amps for the evening show. The audience rocked to the sounds of American Authors, Delta Rae, Kevin Rudolf, Jason Derulo, and Nick Jonas, who had the crowd on their feet almost the whole night.
Live in the Vineyard truly did marry peoples’ access to recording artists, awesome wine and food during this weekend. If you didn’t get a chance to enjoy the music first-hand, fear not!
