As the most stiflingly hot months of the year come to a close and we faintly feel the sun’s rays dial it down a few notches, it’s time to get reacquainted with some of our favorite flavorful fall reds. We can’t think of a better way to invite the new season than by hosting a laid-back dinner party.  

You’ve got big goals for fall, so embrace its beginnings by starting with an atmosphere that promises prosperity. Set the tone with some fragrant flowers; red and yellow carnations with light sprigs of baby’s breath will help keep it casual. Roll out those burgundy and burnt-orange table runners, light a pillar candle or two, and plan a light menu of hearty staples for this casual table. We’re thinking your guests would love a rosemary chicken, French string beans, and maybe even a bite of whipped garlic potatoes.
