Wine Bottle Crafts – Tips

If you love Pinterest as much as we do (follow us!), you’re probably getting inspired to do some wine-related crafts. We have yet to embark on this adventure in wine, but we want to offer up some tips that will help you get started with your wine craft adventure! Easily remove wine bottle labels -Soak the wine bottle in hot, soapy water for one hour -Try to peel off the label. If it does not easily slide off the bottle, add more hot water and let it soak for a while longer. Paint your bottles -We love this blog post about how to paint wine bottles. Save those corks -Wine corks can be used for so many things! Save them for place card holders, jewelry, trivets, mats, wall decorations and more. -Save all corks, even the ones that have dark red stains. You can use the dark ends for different types of projects. -If you need to cut a natural cork, try using a serrated knife. (You can also try an Xacto knife or box cutter. Try different tools to find the one that works best for you. As always, be careful!) Save those capsules -Though you probably won’t do too much with your capsules for craft projects, we are collecting them for Sutter Home for Hope! Visit https://www.sutterhomeforhope.com/ for all the details.
