2 LOAVES SOURDOUGH BREAD
1 CUP MELTED BUTTER OIL FOR GRILL

 

Instructions

TOPPING "COOL SUMMERS DAY" CHOP 1/2 ONION INTO SMALL DICED PIECES, PEEL AND SLICE CUCUMBERS, PLACE ON PAPER TOWEL TO DRAIN EXCESS JUICES… AFTER CUCUMBERS HAVE DRAINED, IN A LARGE MIXING BOWL,PLACE CUCUMBERS WITH ONION ,1/2 CUP PLAIN YOGURT, 1/2 CUP MAYO, 1 CUP SHARP CHEDDAR CHEESE SHREDDED,3 TBLSP BACON BITS, 1/2 TSP SALT, 1/2 TSP PEPPER. MIX WELL WITH SPOON , COVER AND SET ASIDE INTO ICED DOWN ICE CHEST… THE PATTY " WINTERS BEEFSTRO" PLACE 2 POUNDS OF GROUND SIRLOIN IN LARGE MIXING BOWL, MIX IN 1/2 POUND GROUND BACON, 1/4 TSP LIQUID SMOKE, 4 CLOVES GARLIC DICED, 1/2 TSP SALT, 1/2 TSP PEPPER. MIX WITH HANDS UNTIL WELL BLENDED. DIVIDE INTO SIX PORTIONS. PALM EACH PORTION OF MEAT INTO A BALL. SHAPE EACH BALL INTO A PATTY. TAKE BOTH LOAVES OF SOURDOUGH BREAD, SLICE INTO 1 1/2 INCH SLICES. TAKE 12 SLICES AND BRUSH WITH MELTED BUTTER ON ONE SIDE ONLY. SET ASIDE…PLACE PATTIES ON WELL GREASED GRILL OVER MEDIUM HEAT. COOK 7 TO 15 MINUTES ON EACH SIDE OR UNTILL JUICES RUN CLEAR FROM PATTY.
