Wild Burgers

We enjoyed some venison burgers at a Fourth of July party a couple years back that wer fabulous. I tried and tried to get the recipe, but couldn't. So, I searched for a recipe that seemed like the right one. With a little adjusting, I came up with this one and it's great!!


1.5 lbs ground venison
1 lb hot pork sausage
1 medium onion, finely chopped
5 cloves garlic, minced
1 jalapeno pepper, finely chopped
1/4 cup hot sauce
1/4 Worcestershire
2 T oregano
2 t seasoned salt
1/2 t cayenne pepper


Combine all and let sit in fridge for several hours or overnight. Make into patties and grill to at least 160 degrees. Serve with your favorite burger toppings and enjoy!
