These burgers do well on their own, with or without buns and condiments. Sauteed mushrooms make an excellent topping.
1 TB low sodium soy sauce
3 drops of hot sauce
Juice of 1 lemon
20 oz. pkg. 93% lean ground turkey
1 C. Sutter home Cabernet Sauvignon
1. Spray pan with olive oil spray and heat pan. 2. Combine first 3 ingredients in a measuring cup with a spout. 3. Divide ground turkey into 3 equal portions, shaping each into a patty. 4. Place patties into the moderately heated pan and top each patty with 1/3 of the soy-lemon mixture. 5. Cook for 5 to 6 minutes as burgers brown. Add wine and simmer until burgers are no longer pink in center, about 5 to 6 minutes more. 6. Place burger on a roll and top with favorite condiment.
