The Ultimate Cheeseburger

Ingredients

1 1/2 Pounds 92% Ground Beef
1/2 Cup Crushed French Fried Onions
2 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
1 Teaspoon Ground Pepper
1 Teaspoon Sea Salt
4 Ounces Whipped Cream Cheese
1 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1 Cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
2 Tablespoons Honey Mustard
1/2 Cup Sour Cream
5 Sliced Green Onions
1 Cup Chopped Strawberries
12 Slices Italian Bread, 1/2 inch thick
1/2 Cup Softened Butter

 

Instructions

In bowl, combine beef, onions, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Shape into 6 burgers to fit on Italian bread slices. Set aside.

In medium bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and mozzarella cheese. Add honey mustard and mix well. Spread on 6 slices of the bread. In small bowl, combine sour cream, green onions and strawberries. Spread on remaining 6 slices of bread.

Grill burgers for 4 – 5 minutes per side on medium high heat. Place burgers on cheese covered bread slices. Top with sour cream mixture bread slices. Butter outsides of bread slices and grill until golden brown on each side.
