The Game Time Burger

Ingredients

1/4 cup freshly chopped yellow onion
1 tablespoon paprika
1 tablespoon salt
1/4 cup freshly chopped parsley
1 cup ice cold Lite Beer
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1/4 pound ground beef 20% fat
1 large whole wheat bun
1 slice sharp cheddar cheese
1 slice red tomato
2 leaves red leaf lettuce
Condiments:
Real Mayonnaise
Ketchup

 

Instructions

Combine onion, paprika, salt, and parsley in Bud Lite. Lightly stir. This will be used as a baste. Combine butter and minced garlic. Place half of the now garlic butter in the middle of ground beef. Roll ground beef by hand in to a ball, then form in to a bun sized patty. Spread remaining garlic butter on top and bottom half of bun. Cook patty over charcoal grill for 12-15 minutes, continuously basting and turning until baste is completely used. Remove patty from grill and top with cheddar slice. Place buns on grill face down and lightly toast for one minute. Remove buns and spread ketchup and mayonaisse on both. Consult the person to your left if you're having trouble deciding which order to top your burger with lettuce and tomato. Serve with homestyle fries and an ice cold Lite beer, or your favorite Sutter Home Wine, and get ready cause it's Game Time!
