Tasty Tuscan Sun Burger

Ingredients

Meat Mixture:
2 lb fresh ground chuck beef
1 whole egg, large
2 tbs Olive oil, extra virgin
2 tbs balsamic vinegar
2 tsp sea salt
1/2 cup Sunflower seed, unsalted
2 clove fresh pressed garlic
2 tsp fresh fine minced oregano
2 tsp fresh minced basil
2 tsp fresh minced rosemary
2 tsp fresh minced italian parsley
2 tsp fresh minced thyme
1 container (4.25 oz) of  Shredded Italian Blend Cheeses Condiments:
Romaine Lettuce
Roma Tomatoes
Bun:
Cracked wheat buns, fresh
Rack: Spray with olive oil spray

 

Instructions

Place ground beef chuck in a glass bowl. Add 1 whole large egg , 2 tbs olive oil , 2 tbs Balsamic Vinegar and 2 tsp Sea Salt. Mix well, Add 1/2 cup of fresh, unsalted sunflower seeds. Press two cloves of fresh garlic and set to side. Take fresh herbs, the oregano, basil, rosemary, thyme and italian parsely and finely chop.mince each keping separate. Add 2 tsp each to meat mixture and mix well. Add pressed garlic cloves. Separate 2 lbs of meat into appx 1.5 lb and .5 lb. From the 1.5 lb form six appx. equal size patties. using hands and fingers form a well in center of patties. Spoon in cheese mixture into well. Should be about 1 to 2 tbs until it is almost at top of patty. Using remaining meat mixture form top for each patty and place on top of cheese and press on. Cover and place in refrig until ready to grill. Wash ad prepare romaine lettuce and Roma tomatoes. Cover and refrigerate.Use a clean gas grill. Remove rack and spray both sides well olive oil spray.Set aside. Light grill and heat at high for 3 minutes with lid down. Add burger and cook at high to seer for about 2 minutes with lid down. Lower temp to low medium or high low and continue to cook for about 8 to 10 minutes. Because of the cheese in center, cook slowly and don't flip. You may set slightly to side of grill also because of the oils from the cheese. Check internal meat temp to make sure it reaches 160 degrees or more. Use meat thermometer. Remove from grill and place buns on grill to warm for about 1 minute. Serve burger on warm buns with romaine lettuce pieces and sliced ripe Roma tomatoes.
