Supreme Pizza Burger

Bright and full-bodied, this Zinfandel wine is a curious contradiction in tastes.

Ingredients

1- 1 pound ground chuck
2- 1/2 pound Italian Bulk Sausage
3- 2 tablespoons ground plack pepper
4- 1 tablespoon Parmesan Herb Seasoning
5- 1/2 tablespoon fresh minced garlic
6- 1 tablespoon Italian Essence Spice mix
7- 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese
8- Thin sliced pepperoni
9- Sliced Mozzarella cheese
10- 4 Potato Rolls
11- Butter
12- 3 tablespoons Garlic Bread Sprinkle
13- 1/4 cup  Pizza Quick Traditional Pizza Sauce
14- 1-2 thin sliced banana peppers
15- 1 small can sliced mushrooms
16- 1/4 cup thin sliced black olives

 

Instructions

Pre-heat gas grill to medium-high heat. Making the Burgers: Mix the ground chuck, sausage, black pepper, parmesan herb seasoning, minced garlic, italian spices, and parmesan cheese together in a bowl. Separate the mixture into eight 1/4 inch thick patties. Top four of the patties with 8 slices of pepperoni each. Take the remaining patties and place them on top of the pepperoni topped patties and press the edges together to form 4 burgers. Cook on the pre-heated grill until the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees. Top each patty with a slice of mozzarella cheese. Preparing the buns: Pre-heat oven to broil. Open and lay the potato rolls face up on a cookie sheet and spread a thin layer of butter on each roll. Sprinkle Garlic bread sprinkle evenly over buttered surfaces. Place rolls in pre-heated oven for approximatly 2 minute until golden brown. Assembling the burger: While the buns are still warm, place a burger patty on the roll. Top the patty with about a tablespoon pizza sauce,some banana peppers, mushrooms, and black olives. Top with other side of roll with butter side face down and serve.
