5 Sesame Seed Buns
1 onion sliced
2-3 tblsp. Colavita Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/4 cup vegetable oil
5 Deli Style Pepper Jack Cheese slices
Spinach Dip
Butter/spread for buns
Sutter Home Cabernet Sauvignon

Instructions

Burgers – Combine ground beef, ricotta cheese, A1 steak sauce, and steak seasoning. Combine completely, but handle the meat as little as possible. Divide into 5 burgers, approx. 6 oz each. Put a slight depression in the center of each burger. While pre-heating the grill and side burner griddle, butter/spread on bun tops and bottoms. When griddle and grill are preheated, keep grill burners on high but put griddle burner to med/low. Place bun tops and bottoms on griddle and toast on one side. Then briefly place on grill to create nice grill marks on both sides of bun. Set aside buns tented with aluminum foil. Drizzle olive oil on griddle and begin to saute sliced onions. Using tongs, dip paper towels into vegetable oil and dab on grill. Place burgers on grill, cook for 3 minutes per side. Depending on desired level of preparedness, cook additionally 1-4 minutes. These burgers will remain juicy even if well done. Set burgers aside on platter, top with sauteed onion and slice of pepper jack cheese. Place burger on bun, generously spread Spinach Dip on bun tops and serve immediately. No need for other condiments. Serve with Sutter Home Cabernet Sauvignon.
