Siracha Aioli Turkey Burger
Growing up eating my grandmother’s juicy turkey burgers.She was the only one that could cook a turkey burger without it tasting badly. The siracha aioli was my touch to jazz up her burger
Ingredients:
2 lb ground white meat turkey
2 eggs
1/4 C Tangy BBQ Sauce (I like Open Pit)
1/4 C Panko Bread Crumbs
1 t garlic powder
1 t crushed red pepper flakes
2 t salt
1 t ground black pepper
1/2 C mayonnaise
3 T Siracha sauce (Or more or less depending on spice preference)
1 small red onion, sliced
1 T olive oil
1 avocado, sliced
1 tomato, sliced
6 Challah buns (or brioche if cannot find Challah buns)
Instructions:
Mix together turkey, egg, BBQ Sauce, bread crumbs, garlic powder, red pepper, salt, and pepper with your hands. Shape into six (1/3 lb) patties.
In a separate bowl mix together mayonnaise and Siracha sauce and set aside.
Grill patties over medium heat for about 5 – 7 minutes per side until cooked through completely.
While grilling your turkey patties, grill the sliced onions in the 1 T olive oil.
Arrange each turkey burgers with the siracha aioli slathered on the top bun and topped witih the grilled onions, sliced tomatoes, and sliced avocados.
