Roasted Garlic Burgers

This recipe takes a bit more prep than the average burger, but the extra time is well worth it. I hope you enjoy.


1 lb lean ground beef
2 cloves OVEN ROASTED garlic, chopped
2\3 cup finely chopped red bell pepper
2 tablespoons worcestshire sauce
1 whole egg
fresh Spinach leaves thinly sliced
roma tomato
grilled onion slices
thinly sliced avocado
thinly sliced cheddar cheese


Combine all the patty ingredients together (ground beef, garlic, pepper, egg, and sauce) and combine completely. Form 6 separate balls, then carefully flatten into burger patties. Slice onions, tomatoes and avocado. Grill burgers at medium heat and onions at lower heat. Cook meat until thoroughly browned and onions until just translucent. Add cheddar to burger one minute prior to removing from flames to melt. Apply the mayonaise to bun, then add one burger patty, an onion slice or two, some avocado, tomato and two spinach leaves.


Avocado and onions are optional, as is mayonaise. I like to add a little ketchup as well.
