Ingredients

2 pounds ground turkey
1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
1/3 cup honey
1 tablespoon hoisan sauce
1 tablespoon peeled and grated ginger
8 green onions, sliced 1/8-inch thick (3 grams)
Non-Stick Cooking Spray
5 Whole Wheat Buns

Instructions

Prepare a medium-hot fire in a charcoal grill with a cover, or preheat a gas grill to medium-high. To make patties: Combine the ground turkey, soy sauce, honey, hoisan sauce, ginger, and onions, in a large bowl. With combined ingredients, form 5 equally sized patties. Place foil on grill and lightly coat with cooking spray. Carefully place all 5 patties on foil, cover, and grill until browned on the bottoms (about 5 minutes). Gently flip each patty over. Continue cooking the patties until done to preference, about 5 minutes longer for medium. During the last few minutes of cooking, lightly coat the inside of each bun with cooking spray and carefully place the rolls, cut side down, on the outer edges of the rack to toast lightly. To assemble the burgers: Place the buns on a serving platter for the burger placement. On each roll bottom, place a pattie. Once all of the burgers are placed onto the bun bottoms, add the tops and serve. Makes 5 burgers
