Ingredients

3 lbs of lean ground sirloin
2 to 3 cloves of Garlic – minced
1/3 Onion – small (white or yellow)
Zest of 2 oranges – small to medium
3 Tbsp of Soy Sauce
Salt and Pepper to taste
1 bag of Dole pre-packaged coleslaw (without dressing)
2 Tbsp of Honey
1/3 cup of juice from an Orange
Pinch of sugar
4 Tbsp of Rachel Ray’s Extra Virgin Olive Oil
6 Tbsp of Philadelphia Light Cream Cheese
3 Tbsp of Smucker’s Orange Marmalade
6 Sara Lee Sesame Seed Hamburger Buns
3 Tbsp of salted butter – Land of Lakes

Instructions

Burger: Combine ground sirloin, garlic, onion, orange zest, soy sauce and salt and pepper into a large mixing bowl. Once all ingredients are combined, let the mixture marinate in the refrigerator while you make the Cole Slaw. After that, separate the mixture into 6 equal parts (approximately 1/2 lb). Once the grill is ready, approximately 200 degrees, place the patties in the middle and cook on one side for 5-7 minutes. Flip the patties and cook for another 3-5 minutes. When the burger is cooked, remove from the grill and place on a baking sheet. Cover with foil and allow the meat to rest.

Coleslaw: Open the Dole pre-packaged coleslaw and place in a large mixing bowl. In another bowl, whisk the orange juice, honey and sugar. Slowly, combine the olive oil into the mixture. Then, pour the dressing into the large mixing bowl and toss the salad. Make sure the dressing is evenly distributed.

Putting it all together: First, melt 3 tablespoons of butter. Lightly brush butter onto the Sesame Seed Hamburger buns. Place on grill, face down, just long enough for the edges of the bun to turn golden brown.

Next, spread a thin layer of cream cheese across the top and bottom hamburger bun. Only on the top bun, spread a thin layer of Orange Marmalade on top of the cream cheese. Place hamburger patty on bottom bun. Layer coleslaw right on top of hamburger patty. For the final touch, place top hamburger bun on top of coleslaw. Serves 6.
