My Tex-Mex Super Burger

Ingredients

2 pounds of top sirloin
1 medium green bell pepper
1 medium red bell pepper
1 medium red onion
1 green onion
1 clove of garlic
1/2 cup of bread crumbs
1 egg
6 slices of Pepper Jack cheese
6 teaspoons of barbecue sauce
12 slices of Texas Toast
Colaveta Extra Virgin Olive
Oil Vegetable oil

 

Instructions

Directions: Brush grill lightly with vegetable oil before preheating the grill to medium high heat. Chop the scallion, green bell pepper, and red bell pepper and place in small bowl. Crush the clove of garlic and put aside. Take the bread crumbs, egg, Colaveta extra virgin oil and the two pounds of top sirloin and mix with hands in large bowl. Now add the green onion, green bell pepper, red bell pepper and crushed garlic to the top sirloin mixture. Thoroughly mix with hands before evenly dividng into six patties. Now place burgers on griil and cook for seven minutes on each side. Before removing the burgers from the grill, grill the Texas Toast for about three minutes. Also, place a slice of Pepper Jack Cheese on each burger one minute before placing on the Texas Toast. Do not forget to add a slice of the medium red onion on the top of each burger as well as the teaspoon of barbecue sauce.
