Meatoaf Burgers

You won’t need a bouquet of flowers when you share our Pinot Grigio. This crisp wine with floral aromas is a wonderful way to make an entrance.

Ingredients

1 medium onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 large egg
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon gound pepper
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
2 teaspoons Worcestire sauce
1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
1 1/2 pounds gound beef
2/3 cup oatmeal
1/4 cup minced fresh parsley
6 hamburger buns
1/2 cup ketchup

 

Instructions

Mix onion, garlic, egg, salt, pepper, mustard, Worcestire sauce and hot pepper sauce in a medium bowl.
Add the egg mixute to the meat in a large bowl.
Add the oatmeal and parsley and mix well.
Shape mixture into six 3/4 inch thick patties.
Grill meat on the grill rack of an uncovered grill over medium heat for 14 to 18 minutes.
Split the buns and toast on the grill.
Serve patties in buns with ketchup.
