This is a fresh flavorful burger. It is simple and light burger but still has a lot of gusto.
2lbs ground beef
3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
3 chopped grape tomatoes
6 oz fresh mozzeralla cheese, thinly sliced
1/4 cup fresh chopped basil leaves
1 loaf Italian bread olive oil
Mix basalmic vinegar with ground beef. Divide evenly into 6 patties. Grill to desired "doneness". While grilling slice bread into 12 pieces, drizzle with olive oil and set aside. When burgers are done place on italian bread and top with mozzeralla, tomatoes and basil leaves. The heat from the burger will melt the mozzerella. Enjoy. Works well with a hearty wine.
