Mary might be missing her pet but you get a great alternative burger!


one pound ground lamb,
salt to taste suggest a brief sprinkle,
pepper to taste suggest half a teaspoon,
one cup of couscous,
three cloves garlic finely chopped,
quarter cup finely chopped red onion,
one cup finely chopped white onion,
pinch of sage,
pinch of marjoran,
sesame seeded flaky white hamburger buns,
strips of California avocado,
mayo or favorite spread,
alfalfa sprouts


Sprinkle salt & pepper on to one pound of ground lamb, add finely chopped garlic and white and red onion, sprinkle sage & majoran, add couscous and mix well, you will want a fairly dry burger, once mixxed divide into four patties square or round to preference, toss on to grill, cook to preference, suggest cook until medium, no pink, while lamb patties are cooking prepare seasamee seeded fluffy white burger bun to preference with mayo & mustard, set cooked patty on bun, garnish with California Avocado slices & alfalfa sprouts. Enjoy!


Ground Lamb doesn't get nearly enough attention as a light tasty alternative to ground beef!
