Cabernet Sauvignon

This rich red easily complements your homemade chicken dishes, red meats, game, and mildly seasoned pastas.

Ingredients

1 lb. of ground chuck
1 med. vidalia onion, finely chopped
1/2 TBsp of worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp chili powder
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp minced garlic
1/3 cup of shredded sharp cheddar cheese
fresh bakery whole grain rolls/buns

 

Instructions

Take ground chuck and separate with fingers. Add the chopped onion and worcestershire sauce, lightly mixing in with fingers. Add next 6 ingredients, mixing in with fingers. Lastly, add the cheddar cheese, mixing lightly, but thoroughly into the meat mixture. Form mixture into med. patties, approx. 3 inches in diameter. Heat grill or griddle to medium temperature. If using a grill, line with heavy duty foil first and then add the patties, one at a time. Cook approx. 6 mins. on one side and flip over; continue cooking for an additional 5-6 mins. or until desired temperature is achieved.
