italian burger

i love each and every ingredient in this burger, so naturally they are great together. this is a simple recipie- nothing fancy. It is quick and simple to prepare and assemble.

1 lb of ground beef
1/4 lb procuitto
1/2 lb fresh mozzerella
3/4 cup (marinated in oil) sun dried tomatoes slightly drained
1 teaspoon italian seasoning
1 large garlic clove - minced
1/4 medium onion- minced
1/2 teaspoon or to taste- salt
1/2 teaspoon or to taste -pepper
dash of worcestershire sauce
dash of soy sauce
focaccia bread

mix beef, onion, garlic, soy, worchester, italian seasoning, salt and pepper together. divide into 4 burgers. Grill until medium doneness. Top immediately with fresh mozzerella. Grill until cheese starts to melt. Follow with 1 to 2 slices of procuitto and sundried tomatoes. Serve on lightly toasted focaccia bread. Garnish with fresh basil.

this is a combination of creamy, salty and rich flavors. It can be enjoyed anytime of the year. If focaccia bread is not available, semolina rolls are a perfect substitute.
