: Honey Peach Barbeque Burger

White Merlot

Imagine sipping a lighter Merlot. This fresh, pale-pink wine is a nice change from traditional red or white wines.

Ingredients

1 ¼ lbs ground beef
15 % fat
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
1 egg
2 tbsp plain bread crumb
¾ cup honey
½ cup ketchup 1 tbsp white vinegar 2 tbsp brown sugar ½ tbsp soy sauce 1 garlic clove minced ¼ cup vegetable oil ¾ cup peach preserves pureed ½ cup French’s® Fried Onion Rings 1 cup coleslaw mix 4 sesame seed buns

 

Instructions

Heat grill to med-low heat. In medium boll mix beef, salt, pepper, egg, and bread crumbs. Make into 4 patties. Place on grill for 4 minutes each side or until 180 degrees internal temperature. While burgers are cooking, in a small sauce pan, mix honey, ketchup, vinegar, brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic, oil, and peach preserves. Simmer all ingrediance for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove burger from heat, place buns on grill until warm and toasted. Place burgers on buns, top with barbeque sauce to taste. Then top with onion rings and coleslaw mix.
