Honey Hot Brie Burger
2 Granny Smith Apples
2/3 cup of Sutter Home Pinot Grigio
Juices from 1/2 of a Lemon
1 lb. of Bacon
1 Macintosh Apple
3 lbs. Ground Beef
4 Tbs. of Spicy Brown Mustard
11 Tbs. of Hot Sauce
8 Tbs. of Pure Honey
1 oz. of Sutter Home Pinot Grigio
1 Medium Wheel of Peppered Brie Cheese
6 oz. of Bean Sprouts
6 Bukly Rolls
Pre-heat grill to low heat.
Slice the Granny Smith apples into thin strips and place into a bowl. Pour the 2/3 cup of Sutter Home Pinot Grigio wine over the apples. Next squeeze the juices of one half of a lemon over the apples. Cover bowl with saran wrap and place into the fridge to marinate.
Place bacon on grill and turn heat to medium when grease rolls off. When done take bacon off grill and place on paper towels to absorb the grease. Turn grill heat to high.
Chop the Macintosh apple into small quarter inch cubes and place into bowl. Add the 3 lbs. of ground beef to the bowl. Season meat with salt and pepper to your liking. Mix ingredients in bowl and shape out 6 patties. Place patties on grill.
Measure the 4 Tbs. of Spicy Brown Mustard, 11 Tbs. of Hot Sauce, 8 Tbs. of Pure Honey and 1 oz. of Sutter Home Pinot Grigio into a small bowl and whisk together for 2 minutes, then set aside.
Slice the medium wheel of Brie into quarter-inch strips. Flip the patties and place the strips of brie on top the cooked side of Brie.
Next wash the bean sprouts and place in a paper towel to dry and set aside. Then slice the tomatoes and set aside.
Take burgers off grill when Brie has completely melted and the patties have cooked through the center.
To construct the burger first cut the bulky rolls in half. Secondly, place the burger on top the bottom half of the bulky roll. Thirdly, remove the granny smith apples from the wine/lemon mixture and place top each burger. Next, place a few tomato slices on top of the granny smith apples. Then pinch out 1 oz. of bean sprouts and place on top of the tomatoes. Finally, drizzle the honey hot sauce on top of the burger and place the other half of the bulky roll on top.
