hearty burgers

This is a recipe I came up with on my own to use up extras from the garden and they are great.


1 Small yellow squash.
1 red bell pepper.
1 green bell pepper.
4 green onions.
2 lbs lean ground beef.
2 tbsp worschester sauce.
2 tbsp nature seasoning.
1 tsp hot sauce.
1 egg.


Chop or grate all veggies. Mix all ingredients in a bowl with hands. Pat out into desired patty size. I like to grill for 10 minutes on each side over medium heat. Top with pepperjack cheese and lettuce and tomato. Yummy.


You can substitute veggies with zuchini, hot peppers, yellow onions. Suit to taste. These can also be cooked on an indoor grill.
