Healthy Burger

My husband doesn't care for chicken or turkey burgers, so I developed this healthy beef burger.


1 lb. 90% FF beef
1/6 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp mustard
1Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/4 Cup chille sauce
1/2 Cup unprocessed wheat bra
1/4 Cup grated onion
1 egg white
1 minced clove of garlic
2 Tbsp finely chopped parsley
3/4 of a grated avocado.(Use rest on salad.)


combine ingredients in alarge bowl . With thouroughly washed handsmix gently but well until blended and combined. Allow to rest a few minutes. Divide int 5-6 equal parts. Shape each into a patty , rolling gently between hands. Place patties on a piece of tinfoil , sprayed with cacolo or olive oil. Preheat grill to medium high. (350-375") Slide patties onto grill, leaving them on the foil. Cook about 5 minutes. Turn burgers and cook till desired doneness, about another 5 minuts. Place burgers on a wholw wheat bun. Top with a fresh slice od tomatoe and green salad leaves. (Romaine lettuce or spinach leaves taste great.) Enjoy with a heart healthy glass of Sutter wine or iced tea.
