goooulash you wanna better burger

This succulent burger uses some of the flavors of a traditional hungarian recipe but with a twist. The cream cheese makes this burger feel like a naughty indulgence. The crisp pancetta adds great texture. I know you will find this burger to your liking.


2 pounds ground beef
1/4 cup of avocado
4 tablespoon sweet paprika
2 large white onion
1/2 cup of white wine
3 bay leaves
1/4 pound of pancetta
1/2 cup of cream cheese
1/2 cup of sour cream
6 plum tomatoes
1 tablespoon of butter
2 tablespoon of garlic powder
6 sourdough rolls
1.5 tablespoon of kosher salt
1.5 tablespoon of fresh cracked black pepper


Mix cream cheese, sour cream and 1 tablespooon of paprika and 1 tablespoon of garlic powder. set aside. Mix ground beef with avacado and 3 tablespoons of paprika, 1 tablespoon of garlic power, 1 tablespoon of kosher salt and 1 tablespoon of fresh cracked black pepper. Form into six patties and place on grill. Cook for approximately 20-25 mintues until desired doneness is reached. In medium size skillet brown pancetta. Remove from pan when crispy. Add white wine, bay leaves, tomatoes and remaining salt and pepper.Cook for 20 mintues until reduced. Remove bay leaves and reincoporate crispy pancetta. Add remaining salt and pepper. Spread cream cheese mixture on top and bottom of toasted rolls ( toasted on the grill for approximately 3 minutes). Place patty and top with tomato mixture.
