European Burger Delight

This prepared burger is for the person who truly enjoys eating a barbecued burger that is nutritious; mouth watering; wholesome and a meal in itself! The objective of preparing such a burger is to keep in mind that the person(s) eating the preparation will remember it long after the food has been eaten.

1 1/2 lbs. of ground beef (80 % lean)
1/2 stick of margarine for sauteeing onions
2 large onions (to be chopped & sauteed)
1/4 cup of chopped fresh peppermint leaves
3 tablespoons of chopped fresh Cilantro
1/4 cup of melted butter/margarine
4 tablespoons of chopped garlic
1/2 cup of condensed tomato soup
3 tablespoons of seasoned salt
1 teaspoon of salt
1 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
6 Kaiser rolls (split)
fresh salsa (warmed)

1-Chop 2 large onions 2-In a large frying pan, melt the margarine and sautee the chopped onions until golden brown 3- To make the patties, combine the chopmeat, sauteen onions, peppermint, cilantro, melted margarine, chopped garlic, condensed tomato soup and spices. 4-Mix thoroughly and separate the mix into six equal portions forming the patties to fit the size of the rolls. 5-Spray the grill with non-stick cooking spray 6-Prepare a medium-hot fire in a charcoal grill with a cover. 7-Place the patties on the grill rack; cover; and cook 4-5 minutes on each side for medium. 8-Place on the roll and top each burger with warmed salsa (optional)

This will make 6 burgers. A variety of toppings and side dishes can be assembled and provided for the selection by the dining guests. I chose the salsa because of previous use and its desired selection by my guests. I find that this recipe is savory and relatively easy to make in addition to being delicious.
