curry burgers with mango pickle
Ingredients
1 cup White Zinfandel
2 tablespoons of oil
1/2 cup of onion
1 teaspoon of minced ginger root
2 cloves minced garlic
3/4 tablespoon of turmeric
1&1/4 tablespoons gr cumin
2 tablespoons coriander powder
1 teaspoons of cayenne pepper
dash of salt
1&1/2 pounds of ground chuck
My Father inlaws mango pickle or you can get the store bought kind
Instructions
Taste the wine (it's good huh). Heat oil in a skillet .Saute onion, ginger and garlic. Add the spices, saute for 3 to 5 min. You can splash a little wine in if the mixture is too dry. Cool Mix into the meat and shape into burgers. Take the burgers and wine out and grill these babies. Top with mango pickle when done
