cabernet burger bomb !!!!!!

My cabernet burger bomb is fun and delicious. By adding wine to the basic burger the taste and texture change into a blend of flavor and excitement.


1/2 stick butter softened
3Tbs olive oil
3 sweet onions sliced
16oz sliced baby bella mushrooms
1Tbs fresh chopped garlic
11/2 c sutterhome cabernet wine
11/2tsp seasoned salt
1/2tsp fresh ground pepper
1 Tbs fresh chopped parsley
1Tbs oil for grill
11/2 lbs ground sirloin
11/2 lbs ground chuck
6(41/2") soft kaiser rolls split
6 romaine lettuce leaves
6 (1/4"thick large tomato slices
6 slices provolne cheese


directions prepare a medium hot fire on charcoalgrill with a cover on or preheat a gas grill to medium high heat. to make the carmelized onions melt 1/2 stick of butter in skillet add 3Tbs olive oil and 3 sweet onions sliced.patience in slowly cooking the onions until they are a deep carmel brown will be rewarded by the heavy elegant flavor!!!(about 30-40 minutes) then add the mushrooms sliced then add garlic and 1/2cup wine continue stiring until most liquid is absorbed add salt and pepper.


combine chuck, sirlion,salt, pepper, 1cup wine, garlic 1tbs fresh chopped parsley do not over mix. make six patties. when grill is ready brush grill rack with oil. place patties on rack cover and cook turning only onceuntil done. preference 5-7 minutes each side for medium. the final minute place cheese on each pattie cover grill until melted. butter buns toast on grill the buns and burgers should come off the grill at the same time. assemble burgers place burger on bun place onion and mushroom mixture over cheese then place lettuce and tomato slice on the bottom part of bun then eat and enjoy the burger bomb!!!!!!!
