Burgundy Burger

Good Day. Burgers are a favorite with my husband and myself and we use many different recipes for them. I am sharing our current favorite with you.


1 lb ground beef
1/2 finely chopped onion
1/4 cup burgundy wine


finely chop 1/2 onion. mix well with 1 lb ground beef. then mix in 1/2 cup burgundy wine. shape into 3 or 4 hamburger patties. cook over high heat in a fry pan with water to just barely cover the bottom of the pan. water will burn off quickly and you can now allow burgers to brown in their own fat. Turn over and brown the other side.


This is a very tasty, juicy and lower calorie burger. It is fast and easy to make.
