Burgendy Burger

this is a modified meatball recipe that my one of my father


1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
2 cloves of garlic mined
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon basil
1 egg
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup cabernet sauvignon
1/2 stick melted butter


mix all ingredients together and make into 6 patties.
place burgers on a 650 degree gas grill. Turn grill down to low heat. Cook for 2 min rotate 90 degrees. Cook for 2 min more then flip. Cook 2 more min rotate 90 degrees and cook for 2 min. Remove burgers from grill.


I like to serve the burger on " Texas toast" with a slice of provalone cheese. The toast can be cooked on the grill with the burgers.
