Buffalo Hot Wing Burger

Pairs well with:

White Zinfandel

With strawberry and melon essences, this American original is perfectly at home with however you like to unwind.

Ingredients:

2 pounds of ground beef
2 teaspoons of salt
3 teaspoons of black pepper
1/4 cup of finely chopped, shredded carrots
6 tablespoons finely chopped celery (4 celery stalks)
1 1/2 tablespoons of Tabasco Sauce
6 tablespoons crumbled blue cheese
2 tablespoons softened butter
1/2 tablespoon Tabasco Sauce
6 unseeded hamburger rolls
3 tablespoons total of Tabasco- 1/2 tablespoon per burger for topping
3 tablespoons of Roka brand blue cheese dressing total – 1/2 tablespoon per burger for topping

Instructions:

Put 2 pounds of ground beef in a bowl.
Sprinkle 2 teaspoons of salt on the beef.
Sprinkle 3 teaspoons of black pepper on the beef.
Finely chop 1/4 cup of carrots
Add the carrots to the bowl.
Finely chop celery
Add the celery to the bowl.
Add the 1 1/2 tablespoons of Tabasco to the bowl.
Add the 6 tablespoons of crumbled blue cheese to the bowl.
Mix those ingredients together by hand to form a large ball.
Form 6 equal-sized patties by hand from that ball.
Grill on medium heat using a gas grill approximately 5-6 minutes per side (10-12 minutes total)
While the burgers are cooking, in a small bowl mix together the 2 tablespoons of softened butter and the 1/2 tablespoon of Tabasco.
Spread the softened butter/Tabasco mixture on the inside of each side of the rolls.
Place the prepared rolls on the grill mixture-side down and grill for approximately 1-2 minutes.
Put the rolls on the plates.
Remove the burgers from the grill and place them on top of the bottom side of each roll.
Top each burger with 1/2 tablespoon of Tabasco
Then top each burger with 1/2 tablespoon of the Roka brand blue cheese dressing
