Buffalo Burgers

This Savory burger is a combination of all the traditional flavors that typically are in hot wings (minus the chicken of course). It is full of flavor and very simple to make. Serves 6

Blue Cheese Spread:
1/3 cup blue cheese salad dressing
2 tablespoons ranch salad dressing
1 teaspoon celery seed
4 ounces Maytag Blue Cheese, crumbled
Buffalo Sauce:
1/3 cup unsalted butter
1/2 cup Hot Sauce
2.25 pounds ground sirloin
2 teaspoons Kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
vegetable oil for grill rack
6 Kaiser rolls, split
1 1/2 cups mixed baby salad greens

To make Blue Cheese Spread, mix together blue cheese dressing, ranch dressing, and celery seed. Stir in Maytag Blue Cheese. Cover and chill 1 hour. Preheat gas grill to medium. When grill is ready, make Buffalo Sauce by melting butter in small saucepan on grill rack. Stir in hot sauce and remove from heat; Set aside. To make Patties, combine sirloin, Kosher salt, and black pepper. Form into 6 balls. Pat and press into shape. Rub grill rack with vegetable oil. Brush the patties with Buffalo Sauce and place on grill rack. Grill covered 6-8 minutes. Flip, brush with sauce, and grill covered 6-8 minutes more. Brush again with sauce and remove from grill. During the last 1-2 minutes of grilling place Kaiser rolls, cut sides down, on outer edge of grill rack and lightly toast. To assemble burgers, brush cut sides of Kaiser rolls with Buffalo Sauce. Place patties on bottom halves of rolls. Spread Blue Cheese Spread evenly among the 6 burgers. Top evenly with greens and top half of roll. - -
