Buffalo Brie Burger

These burgers are simple to make, are juicy, and taste great!!! The Buffalo Meat (Bison) is healthier than beef but you still get the red meat taste. The brie adds a different flair. When these burgers are grilled the smoky flavor mixes with the soft cheese and roasted red pepper perfectly!!!


2 lbs ground buffalo meat
1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
2 large eggs
1/4 cup fresh Italian parsley, chopped
3 large garlic cloves, minced
3 teaspoons dried oregano 1
/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 wedge of Brie
1 jar roasted red peppers or fresh red peppers roasted on the grill Hamburger buns


Combine buffalo, breadcrumbs, eggs, parsley, cloves, oregano, salt, and pepper. Form patties. Place burgers on heated grill until cooked to desired level. Place one slice of brie on each burger until melted. Remove from grill - place one slice of roasted red pepper and lettuce (if desired) and put on bun. Serve with normal condiments (catsup, mustard, mayo, etc.)
