Bryce’s Rocken Burger

Pairs well with:

White Merlot

Imagine sipping a lighter Merlot. This fresh, pale-pink wine is a nice change from traditional red or white wines.

Ingredients

1 lb. Lean ground beef 
3 strips bacon
1 shallots
1/4 of a medium portabello mushroom, diced
3/4 C. gorgonzola cheese
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/16 C brown sugar
1 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 T. balsamic vinegar
1 head roasted garlic
mayonaise
pesto
hierloom tomato
potato bread bun

 

Instructions

Roast a large head of garlic at 350 degrees until it starts to smell nice and garlicky. chop 3 strips un cooked bacon pan fry on medium high. dice one shallot add shallot when bacon starts to brown, also add 1/16th cup brown sugar to pan then add 1/4 medium portabella mushroom. once shallots and bacon are browned and mushrooms are semi cooked let cool and pour contents including grease in to bowl. add one tablespoon of balsamic vineger. mix well. add one pound lean ground beef, 3 cloves of roasted garlic, 3/4 cup of gorgonzola, 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Mix with hands thoroughly. Grill medium heat till medium rare. 1 potato bun toasted. 1 slice heirloom tomato pesto mayonnaise (equal parts pesto to mayo) green leaf lettuce stack together and eat
