Brat Burger

Hard to pronounce yet easy to drink, this wine combines lychee fruit and white peach flavors with a hint of spice.

Ingredients:

3 Packages Johnsonville Brat Patties
1 package Smoked Cheddar Cheese, Sliced
24 oz. jar Sauerkraut
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
2 red onions, sliced
1 sm. Jar sliced dill pickles
1 cup spicy ground deli mustard
6 Kaiser Rolls, sliced in half
1 cube butter softened

Instructions:

Lay out 6 Brat Patties
Place 1 slice cheese and 1 tsp sauerkraut on each brat Patty.
Place another brat Patty on each topped Patty.
Press around edges to seal cheese and kraut inside burger.

Preheat gas grill to medium-low heat.
Place patties on grill.
Cover and cook patties for 12-15 minutes flipping often, or until internal temperature reaches 180°F.

Split and butter Kaiser rolls and grill until nicely browned.
Remove buns and spread each roll inside with mustard.
Brush each onion slice with olive oil and place on grill.
Remove onion when slightly browned.

Place cooked Brat Patty on one half of the roll and top with slice of onion and three pickles.
Place top on burger and serve
