Bright and full-bodied, this Zinfandel wine is a curious contradiction in tastes.

Ingredients

3lbs.ground chuck
1lb. crumbled blue cheese
8 Tb Worcestershire sauce
1 Tb garlic powder
salt and course black pepper to taste
1 jar roasted red peppers
1/4 cup Colavita olive oil
nature's seasons seasoning blend to taste
1 red onion cut in thick slices
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup ranch dressing
1tsp dill 
hamburger buns

 

Instructions

1. Shape ground chuck into 8(6-inch) patties, roll the blue cheese into 8(1-inch) balls, place the ball into the middle of the pattie so that it is completely covered with the meat. Cover each pattie with 1Tb. of Worcestershire sauce, sprinkle next three ingredients over each of the patties. 2.Place the roasted red peppers on a paper towel to dry them, then drizzle with colavita olive oil. Combine the mayo, ranch and dill together. 3. Grill, covered with grill lid, over medium-high heat(350-400) for 8 to 9 minutes on each side. Grill the buns for 2 minutes, and grill the red onions for 2 minute. Serve on grilled buns with roasted red peppers and grilled red onions, spread mayo mixture. Enjoy!!
