Blue Pepper Mustard Hamburger

Bright and full-bodied, this Zinfandel wine is a curious contradiction in tastes.

Ingredients

2 pounds of ground chuck
1/2 cup of pepper mustard
1 package of onion soup mix (check size)
¼ cup of ketchup
1-teaspoon Garlic powder
1-teaspoon Salt
1-teaspoon Pepper
8 oz Package of Gorgonzola Blue Cheese Crumble
1 package of Potato Hamburger Rolls

 

Instructions

Mix the above ingredients together except for Gorgonzola cheese and hamburger rolls. Make 12 patties from the hamburger mix of equal size and thickness Take six patties and make an indent in the middle Add approximately 1 tablespoon of Gorgonzola Cheese to each Top each patty with one of the remaining patties Seal edges to tighten the burger to secure filling inside Cover and refrigerate until ready to grill On a gas grill, set heat to high. Grill the burgers on each side. Grill the hamburgers over direct medium heat turning once halfway through grilling time. According to the following guidelines: 5 to 6 minutes for rare 7 to 9 minutes for medium 10 to 12 minutes for well done Place Hamburgers on roll and add optional toppings: Lettuce, tomato, bacon, mayonnaise, mustard, onion, ketchup
