blue cheese burger w/ grilled onions

Bright and full-bodied, this Zinfandel wine is a curious contradiction in tastes.

Ingredients

1 1/2 LB. GROUND CHUCK
1/2 C. CRUMBLED BLUE CHEESE
1 TABLESPOON WORCHESTER SAUCE
1 TABLESPOON STEAK SAUCE
1 TEASPOON CHOPPED GARLIC
1 MED. VIDALIA ONION DICED
1 TABLESPOON BUTTER
3 TABLESPOON SUTTER HOME RED WINE
SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE

 

Instructions

ADD WORCHESHIRE, GARLIC, STEAK SAUCE, AND SALT AND PEPPER TO GROUND ROUND. LET MARINATE FOR 1 HOUR OR LONGER IN THE REFRIDGERATOR. ADD BLUE CHEESE. IN SAUCEPAN, SAUTE ONIONS IN BUTTER THEN WHEN THEY ARE SOFT ADD RED WINE. WHEN WINE IS ABSORBED ADD ONIONS TO HAMBURGER MIXTURE. GRILL AND ENJOY!!!!
