Bloody Murder Burger

Pairs well with:

White Zinfandel

With strawberry and melon essences, this American original is perfectly at home with however you like to unwind.

Ingredients

Sauce
12 ounce tomato paste
1/2 lemon squeezed juice
2 tablespoons worstershire sauce
1 tablespoons of hot sauce 
1/2 tablespoon freshly cracked pepper 
1/2 tablespoon kosher salt
1/8 of a teaspoon red pepper flakes
Burger
1.5 pounds ground sirloin
3 tablespoons of worstershire sauce
3 medium sized chopped shallots
2 cloves of garlic minced
1 egg
1 tablespoon kosher salt 
1/2 tablespoon freshly cracked pepper
1.5 cups sliced green olives, with pimentos
6 seeded kaiser rolls
3 tablespoons of soft butter
vegetable oil for the grill

 

Instructions

Combine burger ingredients. Shape into 6 patties. Chill for about a half an hour before cooking. Combine sauce ingredients. Place in sauce pan on the grill. Bring to a low simmer for 15 minutes. Take off the grill and let cool. Refrigerate until burgers are ready. Place burgers on the grill. Cook for approximately 5-6 mintues on each side or until you reach desired doneness. Remove from grill. Spread rolls with softened butter. place on the grill for approximately place burger on bun. top with sliced olives and approximately 2-3 tablespoons of sauce!
