Ingredients

Hot Sauce Mayo:
½ cup mayonnaise
3 tablespoons hot sauce
1-tablespoon lime juice

Patties:
1-½ pounds ground chuck
2/3-cup White Merlot
¾ cup bleu cheese crumbles
¼ cup red onion, finely chopped
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1-teaspoon salt
1-teaspoon pepper
Vegetable oil for brushing on the grill rack
6 Kaiser Rolls
6 leaf lettuce leaves
12 avocado slices

Instructions

Prepare a medium-hot fire in a charcoal grill with a cover, or preheat a gas grill to medium-high. To make hot sauce mayo combine mayo, hot sauce, and lime juice in a small mixing bowl and whisk together until smooth. To make the patties, combine the ground chuck, White Merlot, bleu cheese crumbles, red onion, garlic, salt and pepper in a large mixing bowl. Mix well. Divide mixture into 6 equal portions and roll into balls then form into patties. When grill is ready, brush the grill rack with vegetable oil. Place the patties on the rack, cover, and cook, turning once, until done to desired preference, 4 to 5 minutes on each side for medium. After you have flipped the patties lightly brush vegetable oil on onion buns and place on grill rack until slightly toasted. To assemble burger, on each bun bottom, place a patty; place a piece of leaf lettuce on top of patty, and 2 avocado slices on top of leaf lettuce. On bun top spread an equal portion of hot sauce mayo. Place top of bun on avocado slices and serve.
