Ingredients

Sauce:
1/4 cup miracle whip
1/4 cup ketchup
1 cup diced tomatoes
1 teaspoon ground sea salt

Patties:
2 pounds ground beef
2 tablespoons steak sauce
1/4 cup diced onions
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
Vegetable oil for brushing grill rack
6 kaiser rolls, split
1 package real bacon pieces (found near the salad dressing aisle)
6 slices cheddar cheese
4 cups shredded romaine lettuce

Instructions

To make the sauce, combine the miracle whip, ketchup, tomatoes and sea salt. Mix well and set aside. To make the patties, combine in large bowl, the ground beef, steak sauce, onions, olive oil, salt and pepper. Mix well and divide into 6 equal portions and form into patties to fit size of kaiser rolls. When the grill is ready, brush the grill rack with vegetable oil. Place the patties on the grill and replace cover and cook, turning only once, about 5-6 minutes on each side to a medium doneness. During the last few minutes of cooking, place a tablespoon of real bacon pieces on top of each pattie followed by a slice of cheese. Cover the grill until cheese is melted. Remove patties from grill and place the rolls, cut side down, on grill rack to lightly toast. To assemble the burgers, on each roll bottom, place a pattie. On the roll tops, spread a generous amount of sauce followed by a generous amount of lettuce. Add the roll tops to the pattie and serve.
