Ingredients

2 Tablespoons brown sugar
2 Tablespoons paprika
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic salt
2 teaspoon black pepper
2 teaspoon kosher salt
3 pounds ground chuck
1 bowl Lloyds Bar-B-G shredded beef
6 Tablespoons mozzarella cheese
12 slices red onions 3 in length
12 slices of fully cooked bacon
6 slices provolone cheese
vegetable oil for brushing grill rack
6 slices American cheese
6 hamburger buns, split
3 cups shredded romaine lettuce
6 tomato slices
mustard (optional)
ketchup (optional)

Instructions

Prepare a medium-hot fire in a charcoal grill with a cover, or preheat a gas grill to medium-high.

In a large bowl mix well the brown sugar, paprika, onion powder, garlic salt, black pepper and kosher salt. Add the ground chuck and mix well. Form 12 equal size balls. To make patties, take the balls and form patties to the size of the buns. Set six (6) of the patties off to the side.

In the center of a patty, place two Tablespoon of the shredded Bar-B-Q beef. Place one (1)Tablespoon of mozzarella cheese on top of the shredded beef. Then place 2 slices of red onions on top of mozzarella cheese. Place two (2) slices of bacon on top of the onions to fit the patty. Then place one (1) slice of provolone cheese on top of the bacon. Repeat step for the remaining five (5) patties. Take a patty that was set aside and cover the patty on top of the stuffing and press the sides together to seal. Repeat the step for the remaining burgers.

Brush the grill rack with oil. Place the patties on the rack, cover and grill until brown on bottom, 4-5 minutes. Turn the patties and grill until done. Place a slice of American cheese on top of the burger and close cover until cheese melts.

On each bottom bun, place shredded lettuce(as much as you like) and a tomato. Then place the burger on top and top with mustard and ketchup (optional). Top with the top bun and serve.
