Bacon, Havarti Buger

Hello All, I'm from Chicago, IL and currently working as a buyer. I've been married for 5yrs this July, and we're proud parents of a little girl. My husband is a Sous chef and attending AI-Chicago. I've never cooked before we met,now I get excited when he's home because I know we'll be making a fantastic dinner. Just by picking up a few intresting food ingredients from him I came up with this burger.


ground Sirlion bacon (apple smoked)
porcinni mushrooms
red onion
boston lettuce
tomato block of havarti cheese
Large Italian Loaf


Place ground sirlion in large bowl. Chop bacon finely and mushrooms finely, and place with meat. Mince garlic and shallots and combine with ingridients that are in the bowl. Salt and pepper to taste. Mix well and make 1/2 inch pattes. Grill onions and tomatoes just before burgers are done. Shredd havarti cheese and place on top of burgers wait until melted. Serve on toasted thick Italian bread, place lettuce, tomato, onion, and condiments to your liking. Enjoy!!!
