Pairs well with:

Pinot Grigio

You won’t need a bouquet of flowers when you share our Pinot Grigio. This crisp wine with floral aromas is a wonderful way to make an entrance.

2 lbs. ground beef 80% lean
8 green onions – diced fine

Bread
6 flat breads
Extra Virgin Olive oil for brushing

Instructions:

Prepare a medium hot fire in a charcoal grill with a cover, or preheat gas grill to medium / high heat.
To prepare the patties:
In a large mixing bowl, add hoisin sauce, honey, rice vinegar, ginger, Chile paste and salt. Mix well. Add ground beef, Canko crumbs, and green onions. Handling the meat as little as possible to avoid compacting, mix well. Form and mixture into 6 equal round patties. Cover, refrigerate until ready to grill.
To prepare the Sauce:
In a small mixing bowl, add is the hoisin sauce and mayonnaise mix well. Fold in diced green onions.
Cover and refrigerate until you are ready to assemble the sandwich.
To prepare Toppings:
In a small mixing bowl, add soy sauce and sesame seed oil and mix well. Brush both sides of the Bok Choy with the mixture. Set aside for grilling.
To prepare Flat Bread:
If not already pre sliced, slice each roll horizontally. Brush extra virgin olive oil on the cut sides of the roll. Set aside until ready for grilling.
When the grill is ready, brush the grill rack with extra virgin olive oil. Place the patties on the rack, cover and cook turning once until done to preference, 5-7 minutes on each side for medium. Place the tomatoes on the top rack of the grill rack during the last 3 minutes of grilling. Place the Flat bread, olive oil side down on the outer edges of the grill rack to toast lightly during the last 2 minutes of grilling.
To assemble the burgers, spread a generous amount of the hoisin mayonnaise sauce over the cut sides of the Flat Bread. Place a grilled patty, followed by a grilled tomato, then a Bok Choy. Add the top of the Flat bread and serve.
