Ingredients

5 POUNDS GROUND CHUCK
1 POUND FINELY DICED PEPPERONI
2 TEASPOONS SALT
1 TEASPOON PEPPER
1 TEASPOON GREEK SEASONING
SAUTEED ONIONS AND MUSHROOMS (RECIPE BELOW)
4TABLESPOONS BUTTER
4 TABLESPOONS OLIVE OIL
2 ONIONS
1 POUND FRESH MUSHROOMS
1 TEASPOON SALT
6 HAMBURGER BUNS
2 TABLESPOONS MELTED BUTTER
1/2 CUP MARINARA (FAVORITE JARRED BRAND)
6 SLICES MOZZARELLA CHEESE
NON STICK COOKING SPRAY (FOR GRILL)

 

Instructions

COMBINE GROUND CHUCK, PEPPERONI, 2 TEASPOONS SALT, 1 TEASPOON PEPPER, GREEK SEASONING. FORM 6 PATTIES. GRILL OVER MEDIUM HEAT UNTIL COOKED THRU. SAUTEE ONIONS, MUSHROOMS IN 4 TABLESPOONS BUTTER AND 4 TABLESPOONS OLIVE OIL ADD 1 TEASPOON SALT. COOK UNTIL TENDER. DIVIDE INTO 6 EQUAL PARTS. BRUSH BOTH SIDES OF EACH BUN WITH MELTED BUTTER. TOAST UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN ON BOTH SIDES. SPREAD MARINARA SAUCE ON BOTH SIDES OF EACH BUN. BUILD YOUR BURGER START WTIH A PATTIE THEN TOP WITH ONION MUSHROOM MIXTURE THEN ADD A SLICE OF MOZZARELLA CHEESE AND TOP WTIH BUN.
